What should you expect from my books? There are three things you will find in my stories.

1. A Happily Ever After

2. Compassion

3. Well-researched

A Happily Ever After is also known as an HEA. Most of my books will be romances. With the romance genre, readers expect some kind of commitment between the main couple by the end of the book. It’s 2026, they don’t have to get married. Ways to show they are committed to each other are through an “I love you,” or saying sweet nothings, or some kind of conversation that they want to be exclusive. Better yet, they can show their love in action by small or big gestures, or sucking face, or just shagging. I do try to have two intimate scenes per story, but sometimes it doesn’t logically fit into the plot. I write a sensual romance heat level that is known to be descriptive, must move the plot forward, and is a chance for conflict or a revealing of the characters' worlds. It’s a great moment to show compassion.

Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary says compassion means sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it. With headlines these days, many people are calling out online to stop the madness. Writing stories showing compassion for Mother Earth, animals, and humans allows the characters to grow and gives examples of how we can change as a collective.

I love research. I always have a research book at the ready, whether it be about creatures, or the secret world of Antarctica. If I’m not reading, I’m watching a video about the unexplained. And occasionally, I’ve been known to go to MUFON meetings, or go to special events to hear experts speak. Wherever I am, I’m taking notes.
